Took 13 months to get an eye appointment (Sept 2023 to October 2024) from date of eye check up (marks and Spencer) via Gen Prac to hospital
Called hospital numerous times, no letter from them, no returned calls, always engaged or "unmonitored" voicemails left.
On arrival
- saw first nurse <10 minutes after appointment time
- had photos taken <15 minutes later, told to wait for doctor
- waited 2.5 hours, no doctor
- saw reception, told no doctor to see that day
Total 2hrs 45minutes for preliminary eye appointment.
"difficult to book and long waiting time at first…"
