I sought help at Stoke Mandeville hospital for impacted stools. I was examined by a doctor (I can't remember his name) and had an enema performed by nurse Precious.
Considering this is an embarrassing situation (for me at least), they were so kind and sympathetic. They treated me with immense dignity and took away all the embarrassment. I think I cried so much because they were so kind, listening to me and really understanding how horrible it was for a me.
A nurse (I think) walked by whilst I was crying and asked if I was ok and went to get me some tissues.
Honestly the most lovely experience I've had in that hospital. I bought them some sweeties from the restaurant to say thank you.
"Amazing care and dignity"
