"Couldn't be better"

Today I had to have a consultation with a senior G.P. at the Moir Practice in Long Eaton. This was not the first time seeing this G.P. as my husband also saw the same doctor for a rather unusual and rare complaint. My queries re his condition were taken seriously and acted upon during his consultation, including an immediate hospital phone call. This was in spite of me having played doctor on the internet.

(As an example of how not to deal with questions about very rare conditions I did the same thing with my pet's vet during Covid. I was literally laughed at for my lay person's diagnosis. After video evidence and their call to a vet specialist much humble pie had to be eaten.)

There was none of this arrogance with the doctor today, who listened, discussed and explained without any eye on the clock. Well not that I was aware of. I deserved a good telling off for neglecting things for a very long time. I didn't get one. Only 100% support. You could not ask for more . I know what pressure G.P.s are under so thank you for your time and kindness.
