"Orthopaedic consultation on my knee pain"

I recently had an appointment at Hythe hospital to discuss the results of my recent knee x-rays. I am very happy with my experience at the orthopaedic department having been seen by Mr Dean and wish to give position feedback.

I was seen punctually and giving ample opportunity to discuss my options going forward and never felt that there was any time pressure.

Mr Dean had actually read my referral letter before I came in so was aware of my knee issues. He was professional but approachable and his sympathetic attitude never made me feel that my questions and concerns were unreasonable.

Although my x-rays themselves were not good, my wishes for further treatment were listened to and accepted and I am very happy to feel supported by someone who actually seemed to care.

My experience as a patient was excellent. Both from the hospital itself and from my consultant. Thank you.
