"We found the team exceptionally professional"

About: Mental Health & Learning Disability Services / Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS)

(as a service user),

The long waiting lists are well publicised for young people waiting on neurodivergent assessments. 

Like many others our daughter has had a long wait for assessment,  this has recently been completed by Susan and Ash from the CAMHS teams - we attended several appointments where we were all made to feel at ease and the process clearly explained. 

Despite the long wait we found the team exceptionally professional, we are so grateful that they really took the time to listen and understand our daughter.

Thank you to Susan and Ash for helping our daughter understand herself a bit more. 

The service do a hugely valuable role in a very stretched area of the health service.
