"Ensuring that all my mums needs were met"

About: Queen Elizabeth University Hospital Glasgow / Blood vessel problems ( Vascular Ward 11a &11d) Queen Elizabeth University Hospital Glasgow / Renal Dialysis

(as a carer),

My elderly mum was admitted to ward 11A at QEUH for a procedure. She spent just over three weeks in total on the Ward and was really well looked after before and after her procedure. All staff from the ward clerk, catering staff, HCSW, nurses, physios and doctors were great and communicated well with my mum and I. They were friendly, welcoming, caring and helpful.

My mum has complex physical health issues and attends renal dialysis twice weekly. The communication between ward 11A staff and the renal team at The Renal Dialysis Centre at QEUH was great, ensuring that all my mums needs were met.

The whole vascular team within the outpatient clinic and ward were fabulous and we can't thank them enough.

Dear Orcat,

Thank you for taking the time to post about your mum. I am glad that her dialysis went smoothly whilst in the care of 11A. I hope your mum is continuing to progress well and that all her care needs were met by all the teams involved.
