"They couldn't have been any kinder"

About: Queen Elizabeth University Hospital Glasgow / Nuclear medicine (diagnostics)

(as a service user),

I attended the department for a Gastric emptying study.

The staff were absolutely amazing they couldn't have been any kinder. The nurse who stayed with me throughout the procedure to help manage my sickness and the male nurse who clerked me in were both brilliant.

I unfortunately can't remember names. I instantly felt at ease with them which is unusual for me they were great.

Dear DMANM

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience of attending the department for a gastric emptying study. We’re so pleased to hear that the care and kindness shown by our staff made a positive difference during your visit.

It’s wonderful to know that both the nurse who stayed with you throughout the procedure and the male nurse who clerked you in helped you feel at ease, especially as you mentioned this is unusual for you. Your feedback will mean a lot to them, and we will ensure it is passed along to the team.

Kind regards

Kevin
