"Not all heroes wear capes, some wear tunics"

(as the patient),

Following a long, ever increasing battle with alcohol East riding Partnership help with a detox program at the Doncaster New Beginnings facilities.

The treatment and level of care i received was absolutely on point. I've come away from my Detox feeling like a new person. The faculties are incredibly well equipped for their purpose with immaculately clean kitchens, bedrooms and communal areas.

The treatment/drug administration process is clear, concise and well organised. I was informed of every step of the process and the staff could not help enough to answer any questions I had. ( A massive thank you to Lauren for her help and info.)

All of the staff could not be more helpful and supportive. Always there to help with sincerity, many of whom have been on the same journey and can offer that inside support needed, whilst upholding absolute professionalism in their roles.

I found that the 'Structured day program' that meet at facilities every weekday was a great way to obtain knowledge and an understanding of addiction and how to beat it. A great group of people who offer real time support and don't judge. A real shame I don't live in Doncaster or I would most certainty be attending the 'SDP' here.

I'm leaving here with a real belief I've been given the tools needed to take hold of my addictions and control them rather than them control me.

A massive thank you again to all the staff and support workers who have helped me here.

Not all heroes wear capes, some wear tunics.
