"I feel completely failed by this service"

I felt completely failed by this service. The first time I went to the Stonebridge Centre, I had been experiencing extreme low mood, the person who saw me kept normalising what I had and extending it to other people, we all have... (not helpful as I have been hospitalised for my mental health). They did not tell me how I had an appointment to get diagnosed.  In their words, I would be speaking to a medic. 

I have been experiencing extreme mood swings for the past two years, and the doctor here made no changes to my medication. I expressed very well that I felt my medication wasn't working for me. I have been seen by them twice now, one urgently due to mania and one due to an initial assessment. I feel forced to go privately because no matter how many times I go to the services, they never seem to feel the need to diagnose me.

I feel I need a diagnosis, I need to be able to understand myself and feel heard, and services who just focus on meds and care do not help me as an individual who is in desperate need of understanding myself and accessing care in relation to what I have. Yes it is nice hearing bipolar, but it is not nice not being diagnosed. I feel this service is built on that fatal flaw, the belief that diagnosis is not as important as care.
