(as a service user),

I underwent diagnostic laparoscopy surgery at FVRH for endometriosis.  Waiting times are long just now and that left me feeling anxious and worried about the surgery on the day itself.

From the minute I was taken from the waiting room to leaving the hospital, everyone I came into contact with was absolutely lovely. It made a big difference to be treated with such kindness from all involved.

I wish I could remember everyone’s name but in particular Amy the nurse in the day surgery ward, the anaesthetist, the staff in recovery and the lovely nurse on the night shift as I left.

Everyone spoke to me with such care and compassion, to which I am extremely grateful.
