"Liver transplant"

About: Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh at Little France / GI and Liver Inpatients

(as the patient),

This is a follow up to my last statement,  I have now had my liver transplant at edinburgh royal infirmary. I cannot praise and thank all the staff, from domestics up to consultants  and surgeons.

I have to say they all went over and above their duties, they were all so kind and helpful with my recovery I direct this to opd1, ward 206, ward 215 and icu liver dept

You should all be  proud of yourselves. You do a remarkable job and cannot thank you all for the care you gave me.

I hope you can pass this message on to all staff concerned,  I have already submitted a statement prior to my op which you kindly circulated , and would love you to publish this so as people can see how good the staff are.

Thank you so much for your kind comments. We are glad that you are recovering well at home and had such a good experience during your liver transplant. I will be sure to pass on your comment to the wider team. Take care and thank you again.
