I was diagnosed in 2oo1 with a mental health illness of bi polar caused by a mixture of life changing events namely bereavement of quads and the very sudden death of my father
All these events caused a breakdown of health resulting in hospitalisation to provide a rest period from life to ward 30 stirling, which we the patients referred to as a travel lodge for sick people is I believe currently now livilands resource centre..
After eventually trying to move on... and after so after many years of managing weather i became immune to meds i hit a low period which i was struggling with fatigue and mental health .
my wife was concerned about my dip in mental health and i was fast tracked to dr martin for consultation ..meds were adjusted and changed.
Livilands helped me move forward and supported me with social inclusion and structure my days and weeks.
The doctors ,nurses, staff particularly jackie and kerry, and admin staff go out their way to assist and make livilands a comfortable and safe place to attend..
I cannot praised them enough ..
"Staff go out their way to assist"
