About: Aberdeen Royal Infirmary / Cardiac ITU (Intensive Therapy Unit) Aberdeen Royal Infirmary / Cardiothoracic (Heart and Lung) Ward Aberdeen Royal Infirmary / Surgical HDU

(as the patient),

After a period of feeling unwell, i was referred to ARI for tests. It was discovered my valve was the issue and required replacement. 

I was admitted under the care of Mr El-Shafei. From day one I was kept fully informed by his personal secretary which was of great comfort to me. The procedure was well explained to me, so that i was fully aware of all information.  

During my stay in ICU, HDU, 216/217, all departments, all nurses and hosptial staff showed the highest professionalism and care. All staff are a credit to NHS Grampian and ARI.  I will forever be grateful for your care. Warmest thanks.

I am sorry to hear you have been unwell but very glad you had a postive experience during your time in ARI. I have delighted to hear that you experienced high levels of professionalism and care while you were an inpatient within Cardiac ICU, HDU and Ward 216.
