"Sore knee story"

About: Physiotherapy Services / Musculoskeletal (MSK) Physiotherapy - Outpatients

(as the patient),

Did a 9 mile walk too fast and next day I couldn't walk. My right knee very sore. Left it for 5 months thinking it would get better. It didn't. Went to doc. She was very good. Sent for an x ray ( waited 2 weeks). Then got physio pretty quickly.

X ray showed I had arthritis.
Physio was excellent, asked me why I waited so long to do something about it.coz I thought it would get better.
Physio gave me exercises to do which I did, I felt an improvement after a week. Saw physio again after 4 weeks. Knee much better. I've to keep doing them. Knee much better.
