"Always very good and accommodated my son’s needs"

I would like to give some feedback about the service my teenage son received whilst under the Head2Head Team in Nottingham.

The 1:1 sessions were headed by my son’s Care Coordinator Babita who was very professional in her approach and took account of his Autism and learning difficulty when she delivered her sessions. For example, offering simplified visuals for learning techniques to help with his mental health to work through at the session and then take home with him so that he could refer back to them. Also, at the start of each session she would always recap what they had done at the last session.

Sometimes Babita's sessions with my son included Kate the Psychologist or Danielle Speech  & Language Therapist. Again these sessions were always very good and accommodated my son’s needs. Not only did my son get support, myself and my son’s father had ongoing family support from the lovely Jane. 

Whenever we had meetings with other professionals who worked with my son e.g school we could be rest assured as Babita & Kate would always attend to provide an update about his mental health and look at the best care for my son. Medication reviews with Dr Nair were always timely and the option to have blood tests taken at the clinic saved having to go to the local GP which was great.

My son moved out of the Nottingham area and the Head2Head team were amazing they offered ongoing support until he left and gave a comprehensive update to his new team.

I’d like to say a big thank you to Babita, Kate, Dr Nair, Phil, Claire, Jane and Danielle at Head2Head for all the support they have given whilst my son was under their Team.
