"Dementia patient"

About: The Outside Clinic

Booking timing and sight check all brilliant.

The only issue I have is the choosing of glasses. My mum (with dementia and does not go outside much) was encouraged to buy 2 pairs of very pretty glasses and fine (not robust at all) glasses of the same style (and will hopefully be getting another pair free, but they have not turned up yet). Also one pair of glasses has photochromic lenses.

There are a few problems with this sale.

[ ] She cannot see the difference between the reading and long distance glasses

[ ] The glasses arms are so thin they will easily bend or break with being sat on or taking off and on.

Outside clinic were told that mum had dementia before the visit and I would have expected them to bear this in mind during the appointment.
