I felt nervous as I’ve not had a coil fitted before, but the team were really friendly and kind. They talked me through it all beforehand and as it happened. The nurse was so lovely, distracting me with conversation.

It didn’t take that long for the actual fitting. I was able to ask any questions I had and realised that everyone will have different experiences with the coil itself. The team reassured me what to do if it wasn’t quite right and that taking it easy was definitely a good plan, along with cake!
