About: University Hospital Wishaw / Emergency Care University Hospital Wishaw / Paediatrics wards (19 & 20)

(as a parent/guardian),

Can't thank the staff in Wishaw A&E and Paediatric ward enough. My 2 month old daughter ended up with RSV and required to be put on high flow oxygen, however Wishaw didn't do that as they only had the machines in Neonatal. There was no beds in the whole of Scotland so we had to stay at Wishaw and the staff had to be trained on how to use the high flow oxygen machine but they were all amazing especially Fiona and looked after my daughter and me so well. Thank you so much

I am delighted that you felt so well looked after and will feed this back to all of the team, especially Fiona. I hope your daughter is recovering well at home and back to her herself soon.
