"Waiting times"

I attended the emergency dept re a suspect blood clot on my right calf. I had blood taken an hour later along with an ECG test.

Ten hours later, still in the emergency dept awaiting my results. Surely over 11 hours total for such a routine procedure is disgraceful.

Having finally been taken into get my earlier blood results the dr informs me that the blood was tested for everything except the reason I came in for ie the test for a suspect blood clot in my leg.

Now have to give more blood and again wait hours for the results. How hard is it to get the right tests for a blood clot?
