I came to A&E via ambulance after a traumatic fall. I was there for 24 hours before being transferred to Salford.
The Doctor’s and Nurses who treated and cared for me whilst in the High Dependancy Unit were kind, caring and unflappable. The Discharge Report suggests the doctor who I particularly remember was an FY1. Throughout, he ensured I was as comfortable as possible, worked hard to get my pain under control, spoke to me about my care, what was going to happen. He was calm and reassuring. There were a couple of nurses too, who I specifically remember for the care that they gave. Thank you so much for caring for me and caring about me.
"Amazing care"
