I’ve recently been referred to
Clinical Health Psychology to talk through a diagnosis I received. Firstly I was asked invited to attend a 4 week group session within the Macmillian centre with a group of womem going through similar experiences. I found this really helpful & beneficial.
I learnt a lot through the other patients and from the two psychologists who delivered the sessions. They were great. So welcoming & trustworthy. After the 4 weeks, I had 2 1-1 sessions which went well. It helped me talk things through and escape my own head. Being able to leave the last session being reassured the door is always open for me in the new year when I face bigger situations, if I ever need to return, I can. Thank you 😀
