After an accident recently, I fractured my foot and had to be referred to the fracture clinic at Forth Valley Royal Hospital.
I was initially seen by the consultant, Dr Finlayson who was extremely helpful, very professional and reassuring. He answered all of my questions, and treated me with the utmost respect as a patient, which I am extremely grateful for.
I was referred back to the nurse-led fracture clinic some weeks later to check how my injury was healing and was seen by Karen. Karen had an excellent, friendly approach and again put me at ease with her kind and caring demeanour. Karen is an excellent nurse and is the kind of person I would happily have looking after myself, or family members again in future should it ever be required (heaven forbid!).
A massive thanks to everyone involved in this department, you all do an excellent job and the wider hospital system should be grateful to have you all!
"Treated me with the utmost respect as a patient"
