About: Mater Hospital / Macular Unit

(as a service user),

Every time that my care package is updated I should receive the update in writing but this never happens. It would seem that someone hasn't updated my notes for the new care package and they are still using the outdated care package.

Thank you for your additional feedback regarding your experience with the Macular Clinic. The Belfast Trust has undergone significant technologicaI changes over the last 6 months. With the introduction of Encompass, any written communications are now able to be transmitted electronically from clinic or ward, directly to the GP.

However, there are still some areas where historical clinical information will require updating as their patients present for review. We would kindly ask for your patience on this matter.
