About: Inclusion Thurrock (Talking Therapies)

(as the patient),

I came to Inclusion Thurrock for support as my anxiety levels has spiralled out of control. This was following a number of difficult events in my life. As well as physical and emotional symptoms I wasn’t really able to stop the negative thoughts and worries. This was impacting my daily life and my relationship with my family.

I was offered video call appointments relatively quickly. The therapist I worked with was very approachable and supportive. She taught me techniques to manage my worries which I then put into practice in my daily life.

I had weekly video calls to review how I was getting on and within a couple of months I was feeling a lot better and in control of my worries and anxiety. Thank you Inclusion Thurrock!

I am glad to hear that we were able to support you. It sounds as though you were able to achieve your goals of managing those negative thoughts and worries so they won’t impact your life and relationships.

It is wonderful that you were able to get prompt support, where you worked with a therapist that made you feel supported, heard and empowered. Which is amazing, as this seems to have positively impacted you! it is also great to hear how you’re utilising those skills you learnt and putting them to practise.

It’s honestly amazing that you and your therapist were able to work together collaboratively, to help achieve your goals which has resulted in better management of your worries and anxiety.
