About: General practices in Ayrshire & Arran

(as a parent/guardian),

Our son has been unwell for a number of weeks and I asked our GP to look over him again.

When we arrived Dr Miller really took time with my son who has additional support needs and really took time to involve him in everything he done. This ensured my son felt comfortable as did I.

Dr Miller was showing excellent person-centred care and really went over and beyond during the examination to help my boy feel at ease.

Great communication throughout and called back with results within 24 hours. We appreciate your level of care and support you showed our son.

I am sorry to hear that your son has been unwell, but pleased to hear that Dr Miller took his time when checking your son and involved him in everything he did. It is also reassuring to know that there was great communication throughout and that you had the test results within 24 hours. This is a lovely example of the person centred care that we strive to deliver.

Our staff really appreciate receiving feedback from their patients and it will be my pleasure to ensure your lovely comments are shared with Dr Miller.
