"Access to DVDs"

About: Rampton Hospital

(as a service user),

I have been told that we are not allowed to have DVDs sent in but would like there to be changes or an accepted wayin which we can have a place like the hub and have certain DVDs requested.  This is like games are done and have them ordered to go straight to the Hospitals library so we can choose from much more DVDS.  This is no security rsk et and is the same as the allowed games system.

Hello and Happy New Year.

As you're probably aware the patients' library has a selection of DVDs that wards can loan. We rely on donations as the library doesn't have a budget to purchase new DVDs. Did you mean that the library could accept DVDs that are sent in/donated from patient's family/friends and add them to the stock that already exists? I will have a conversation with Security to see if this is an option, if it is I would be happy to set this up.

If you would like a further conversation please get in touch and I will come and see you.

Thank you

Happy New Year, Yes Matthew that's exactly what I mean to donate DVD's to the hospital's library from the outside which will give a much larger choice etc etc, yes if you could set this up that would be great, and could you let me know when this is allowed if it is ever allowed which I can't see it being a problem in anyway?. thanks Matthew
