"A very determined team"

About: University Hospital Ayr / Clinical Radiology (Diagnostic Radiology) University Hospital Ayr / X-rays and Scans

(as a service user),

Attended for insertion of midline prior to CT scan. My problematic veins made this a particularly difficult task, but thanks to a very determined team I managed to complete my scan and now await results.

Huge thanks to them for being so kind, caring and supportive. Not everyone will be aware of this valuable service. 

CT scan staff were fab and also attended to IV dressings before home.

I am glad to hear that you received such kind and supportive care during your appointment. It’s often the small things that can make such a difference, such as taking the time needed to insert your midline prior to your scan and ensuring your IV dressings were attended to prior to you returning home, resulting in a positive experience for you.

I think I also need to say that CT staff were also just as supportive as my first post makes them look as they just attended to my wounds. A valuable and essential team to have in a local hospital
