After several months of feeling low, having low self esteem and in general very little motivation my GP referred me to Inclusion Thurrock. I was apprehensive at the start because of the group information sessions, however I am so glad I attended. They were full of helpful advice and tips on how to get the most from my therapy sessions.

On meeting my own therapist for CBT I was relieved with how friendly, supportive and professional she was. Petra has had a huge positive impact on my life and mental health. I believe I now have many tools to help me in the future and to keep going in a positive mindset, and most importantly with a kindness to myself that I have long struggled to give. 

I would recommend the services and I feel very grateful for the support.

Thank you for taking your time to share about your experience with Inclusion Thurrock Talking Therapies.

It is quite common to feel apprehensive about attending group sessions, as many attendees mistakenly believe they are going for group therapy, which is not the case. At Inclusion, our therapists share their knowledge about mental health and wellbeing, using analogies to help better understand the concepts. Groups participants have frequently shared that connecting with others facing similar situations has helped them with the feeling they are not alone. I am pleased to hear that the initial group sessions have equipped you to get the most out of each therapy session.

I am delighted to hear that you found the support to be professional, supportive, and friendly. It is wonderful to see that therapy has had such a positive impact on your life and mental health. It is great that you have gained tools to help you move forward with a positive mindset. I am also glad to see that you have developed self-compassion and can recognize how far you have come.

You should be incredibly proud of time and commitment you invested in yourself.
