"Kindness, compassion, understanding and openness"

About: University Hospital Wishaw / Gynaecology (Ward 13)

(as a service user),

Thank you to all the medical and nursing staff in NHS Lanarkshire Women’s Health Department for my ongoing investigations and care received.

Special thanks to Dr Gherge, consultant in charge, who has consistently shown me kindness, compassion, understanding and openness and put arrangements in place when he says he will. Huge thanks to his secretary, who has always taken time to keep me updated on timescales etc and is always patient and helpful.

In attending various tests, all staff have taken time to talk me through the process, made me feel comfortable and taken time to answer my questions.

Thanks to Dr Jani, Natalie and Julie at my most recent hysteroscopy appointment. It wasn’t something I was looking forward to and you did everything to make me feel comfortable and in control, always checking in. The chat to distract was great too and thank you for making it a better experience than I expected. It’s an invaluable service you provide.

The quality of care I have received so far has consistently been of a high quality, delivered by considerate, caring and professional staff. Thank you!
