"Worth their weight in gold"

About: Causeway Hospital / Outpatients

(as a service user),

I was very anxious and nervous leading up to a follow up scan that I had this morning in the Causeway Outpatients department.  I'm not familiar with this hospital, however I was greeted in a very friendly and courteous manner by a Staff Nurse Pat.

He is in every sense the meaning of a true nurse .  Furthermore the nurse specialist Staff Nurse Colhoun was also amazing and informative.  She put me at ease as soon as I went into the scanning room .  Honestly she was such a caring and compassionate nurse.

These nurses are worth their weight in gold. Thankful to have had a very positive experience during an immensely worrying time .

Hk48 my name is Michelle Hunter and I am the Sister in Causeway Outpatients. I would like to thank you for taking the time to give us such positive feedback; I know this will mean so much to the two members of staff and they will be delighted when I share your story with them. I will speak with both staff members on Monday morning and I will be sure to let them know the impact their kindness had on you.

Regards

Michelle
