About: General practices in Ayrshire & Arran

(as a service user),

I want to thank Dr Coulter and the staff at The Surgery @ 9 Alloway Place for the professionalism and compassion  that they showed when I had a minor procedure carried out in the practice.

To the nurse assisting the Dr carrying out the procedure, I wish to take this chance to thank her for the empathy and support she gave during the procedure, it really made a difference. 

Dr Coulter gave me a comprehensive explanation of what was involved and put my mind at ease. I was apprehensive  prior to the appointment but the staff involved made such a difference.

Thank you very much for taking the time to share your healthcare experience with us via Care Opinion.

I am sorry to hear that you required a minor procedure to be carried out at your GP Practice however, I am so pleased to hear that Dr Coulter and the nurse assisting were able to support you before, during and after the procedure. It is reassuring to know that your mind was put at ease by the staff during an anxious time. This is a lovely example of the person centred care we strive to deliver.

Our staff really appreciate receiving feedback from their patients and it will be my pleasure to ensure your lovely comments are shared with Dr Coulter.

I do hope you are feeling better now and are recovering well from your procedure. Please accept my best wishes and thank you once again for taking the time to acknowledge your care experience.
