"Fantastic service"

I attended The Cardiac Investigation Unit in CAH for an ECHO and then the Ambulatory Cardiac Unit for ECG,  bloods and consultation. Laura called me in for the ECHO exactly ontime,  she was very friendly and really put me at ease. She explained everything she was doing and worked quickly anf effectively,  and then afterwards gave me clear directions for accessing the ACU. There I met Doreen who carried out the ECG, again I was put at ease and Doreen did a great job, she was very friendly and professional. Very quickly I was seen by Diane the Advanced Nurse Practitioner, she listened to me and reassured me, I didn't feel rushed, I felt she really understood how I felt. She was very thorough and did my bloods, she checked the ECHO results which weren't back yet and explained she would phone me once they came through. She gave me options about my potential treatment and even took me around to the pharmacy department to pick up my medication.

I received the medication very quickly from the pharmacist who came to speak to me to ensure I knew when to take the medication.

Diane phoned me later in the afternoon to explain there was a problem with the ECHO reporting,  and that if there was anything concerning a consultant would contact, and if it was fine, she would be intouch with me next Tuesday.

This is a fantastic service and was so efficient,  everyone I met was friendly and professional. Thank you.
