My elderly mother injured her foot before Christmas. She had it XRayed in Ballymena in January. The person X Raying it hurt her foot further as she was lying uncomfortably. I spoke to her GP the day after. They couldn’t remember sending her for an XRay which was alarming… but they did make the call to attend Minor Injuries.
They were wonderful from start to finish. From the lady who triaged on the phone to the amazing, caring staff in Magherafelt- Patricia and co- they reassured my anxious mum that nothing was broken- she has osteoporosis and was terrified that she had broken a bone. Her GP had been unable to access her X Ray result but Patricia in Magherafelt was- and it made so much difference.
Thank you to the team in Magherafelt- she has torn ligaments but they were so kind and reassuring- true angels. Thank you.
"So kind and reassuring"
