I Had a phone call from Chesterfield Royal Hospital regarding a surgical appt . Following conversation had further questions then tried to contact someone at hospital . After 3 transfers ,I ended up speaking to one of the surgical secretaries.
They were very unhelpful and after I explained my situation they just said there was nothing they could do as they couldn't see me on the system.
I asked who we should contact to solve issue, response was there is nobody I can contact, they are looking at the same system as them!
When I asked for their name they would not give it, refused to listen to me and ended the call!
I am now going round in circles to try to get someone who can sort this out.
I had a call from someone at Chesterfield Royal booking me a surgical appt, yet no one can find where this came from or anything on the system.
This needs review so it doesn’t happen again .
I found it disgraceful and very upsetting
Postscript - called hospital again and spoke to a very helpful member of staff from appts, who assured us they would track down where the call had come from, within 10 mins someone rang us and sorted out the issue.
