"Consistently supportive and understand experience with Notts Mandala Centre"

I have been having sessions at Notts Mandala Centre for nearly a year and have had a consistently stellar experience with the service. The mental health nurse assigned to me; Alice; has shown has never failed to treat my experiences with respect and understanding. More importantly, I was never made to feel like I was 'being treated', her ability to weave sincere conversation into meaningful revelations shows a true professionalism and self awareness.

My experiences with mental health services lead me to always expect an eventual downturn by virtue of the sheer lack of resources to effectively treat individual cases with such care, but Alice thoroughly shattered those preconceptions. The quality of the centre comes from the excellent work of the individuals that work there, and I was lucky enough to see that passion and enthusiasm firsthand.

I have subsequently ended my time with Alice, but felt compelled to recognise the quality of her work. I have left the service in a much better headspace, and feel I was given the tools; and more importantly the space be flawed without judgement; that allow me to improve myself and my quality of life.

Thank you so much for taking the time to share your experience of working with the Notts MBT Service at the Mandala Centre. It is lovely to hear how you have developed such a helpful working relationship with Alice and how supportive this has been in enabling you to move forward and be in a better headspace. I am pleased that your initial concerns that the care received would not last has been shattered.

We really value your feedback, I want to thank you for talking about your experience of working with Alice and the wider the Notts MBT Service team, I will ensure your feedback is shared with them all. Alice would also like you to know that she is truly appreciative of your comments and wishes you all the best.
