I Felt unwelcomed, threatened and harassed by a member of staff at a recent visit to Princess Royal Huddersfield sexual health clinic.
I had an 8-month-old baby with me, the member of staff refused to take him in first, when I told I don't have any arrangement to leave him as no-one explained babies cannot accompany mothers, they told me that if something happens to me they will call social services.
I was there for my appointment with sexual health doctor for a follow-up which was treated before in another sexual health clinic, where my baby has been with me many times.
No letter was given suggesting babies cannot accompany, no policy was shown, the member of staff abruptly ended conversation after threatening me with social services and asking me to wait.
The doctor then kindly let my baby in clinic, which I am grateful for, but the behaviour of the member of staff on receptionist who I spoke to was very inappropriate and made my whole experience worse.
"Poor communication and staff attitude"
