I had been in hospital after I fell at home

 After some time in hospital, I got home with the home assessment team. My confidence was really low. Thanks to the lovely physio and OT, both called Jennifer, after 1 week at home, my walking was much better and I was able to get back into the kitchen. I am usually the cook at home and my husband was struggling. Without Jennifer and Jennifer, I wouldn't have got better nearly as quickly. The home carers were also such a lovely bunch. I owe them all. Such a lovely team. Thanks again.

I am one of the Team Leaders in the Home Assessment Team and wanted to thank you for taking the time to provide feedback for our service.

I am sorry to hear you had a fall leading to a hospital admission and that your confidence reduced due to this. I am however very glad to hear you found both Jennifer the OT and physio lovely and how helpful they were in helping you regain your confidence in your walking and allowing you to return to completing activities in your kitchen. I am pleased to hear you are able to get back in the kitchen as the cook to help your husband if he was struggling during this time.

It is lovely to hear the positive feedback for home care staff supporting you to regain your confidence and independence at home.

I will be sure to share this feedback with the whole team and reinforce the positive impact our team has had.
