"My sisters care"

About: St Johns Hospice / St John's Hospice (inpatient)

(as a relative),

We have a disorder in our genes and just like a ticking time bomb we just wait. It gets to the point where the last week or two we need a hospice. So to St John’s we go. First impression - what a nice clean place and my reception was second to none. A few hours the first day and we left my sister in your care. The next week I stayed in the room and each and every member of staff not only cared for her but me as well.

I came to St John’s as a stranger…….

I feel today that I am leaving part of my family..

I hope that St John’s flourishes in the coming years.

To all the staff I have met -It was a pleasure meeting you.

Hi

Thank you very much for this kind and thoughtful feedback. I'm very pleased that we were able to support you and your sister. I have shared your' thoughts with the doctors already, and will pass on your' thoughts to the nursing staff at our team meeting too.

Thanks again

Barry
