"Professional, personable and caring"

About: Royal Devon & Exeter Hospital (Wonford) / Fracture Clinic

(as the patient),

I am writing to say how lovely the orthopaedic staff were at the RD&E Hospital in Exeter when I had my cast removed.

Mia removed my plaster and stitches with ease and without any pain.  Matt applied the new cast under Mia's instruction.

They were both professional but also very personable and caring.

Thank you.  I hope I see you on my next visit!!

I am responsible for monitoring overall service delivery, and the day to day running of both departments. I work closely with the Orthopaedic Consultants, Radiologists, Therapists, Trauma Nurse Practitioners, Orthopaedic Practitioners and Nursing staff to ensure cohesive care is delivered. I am very fortunate to have a dedicated team of staff, who work extremely hard to ensure patient safety is maintained, and that clinics run as smoothly as possible.

Dear mummyl62,

Thank you so much for taking the time to feedback on your recent visit to the Plaster room in Fracture clinic, I will ensure that your thanks are passed on to both Mia and Matt.

It is so lovely to receive positive comments on the attitudes and technical skills displayed by staff during a patients appointment - we work really hard as a team to try and ensure that we deliver a high standard of care to every individual attending clinic.

Kind regards,

Julia King

CNM Fracture clinic.
