I attended the unit on Thursday `4 feb 2025 extremely anxious about having a cysoscopy having had bad afterefects and pain on previous occasions at other hospitals

The nursing staff and the doctor I saw on the day were extremely gentle and kind to me during the procedure and after the procedure made sure I was ok after the anasthetic wore off giving me cups of tea and water until the pain subsided

I have an unusually sensitive urethra so i was expecting the worst and felt only kindness and care from the nurses whilst waiting for it to settle down and did not feel pressured to leave the unit

This procedure was done professionaly and normally does not result in discomfort but my waterworks do not follow the rules and the lovely nurses made the experience really comforting for me

Being nice and kind to patients really matter and all the staff I met were certainly kind people

I do not wish to go to any other urology unit other than this first class caring facility

thankyou and you are all briliant
