I recently attended the emergency department at forth valley royal hospital for a burn injury, advised to attend by 111 and subsequent call with minor injuries
I was seen very quickly by Pauline, Natalie and Ashleigh in triage initially.
Taken through for treatment and looked after by CSW Debbie and nurse Casey.
Dr Jo attended and deroofed my blisters, applied dressings etc was given pain relief and discharged with good advice
I am always reluctant to go into the ED department unless necessary, knowing the strains they are already under.
But without this treatment I would have remained in extreme pain and possibly worse effects in the long run
I cannot thank the emergency department enough especially the staff who treated me with so much dignity & respect, Their professionalism and kindness. And most of all just their care.
So would like to pass on my appreciation.
"Professionalism and kindness"
