(as a service user),

I was admitted via a&e with query appendicitis, I was seen promptly by Wei in minors and was admitted pending a scan the following morning.  I had an ultrasound which did not show anything but the surgeon Mr Eltayeb said he would remove my appendix as I was clinically showing signs of appendicitis. 

I was transferred from a&e to EMSU under the care of Ciera and Kate who were both fantastic, post surgery I was transferred to SEU to stay overnight then discharged home the following morning. 

I have attended EMSU a couple of times post surgery for post op wound care and have been well looked after by Brinin, Rebekah, Preeja, Dr Lynden and Dr Jenna and all the staff in EMSU and Ward C3 have been fantastic and very caring.
