"Midwife made me feel so comfortable"

I received great care from one of the Midwife’s at Inverurie Maternity Unit. Holly saw me with reduced movements and was able to call the Obstetrics team in Aberdeen to get me seen that day.

I then went on to have a wonderful baby boy the next day after a successful induction.

During the postnatal period Holly came to visit me at home and I will never forget the care and compassion shown to me. She made me feel more human again and despite being busy she took the extra time to sit and talk things through with me and my husband. Holly made me feel so comfortable and was non judgmental.

I was struggling emotionally between midwife visits and Holly organised to call me each day just to check in and offer support.

I will forever thank Holly for this and hope she got her well deserved Daisy Award that I nominated her for.
