"Absolutely poor communication "

About: University Hospitals Birmingham NHS Foundation Trust

I am currently pregnant with my first baby and the lack of communication with regards to appointments made by the hospital are shocking. I have had two occasions now where I have had an appointment sprung on me last minute with no letter sent and then been chased on the phone with a email regarding said appointments. Especially when they are for appointments less than 72hours away. It’s slowly starting to make me lose any form of confidence about having my baby at this hospital because no one can seem to tell me where the appointments have suddenly come from or what I’m having it for. Plus the admin team within Antenatal clinic in my opinion come across as rude which again is the last thing you need when your hormones are all over the place and then made to feel like it’s your fault.
