"Labour and maternity unit"

About: Dumfries & Galloway Royal Infirmary / Maternity care

(as a service user),

I gave birth to my baby girl almost 3 weeks ago and wanted to express my deep gratitude to the team who helped deliver and looked after us during our stay. I could not fault the care we received, right from maternity assessment unit to the maternity ward. The midwives, students, health care support workers, consultants, theatre staff were nothing short of amazing. The 1:1 care during my labour was outstanding. As an nhs worker myself and aware of the current climate we are working in,  the team could not of done enough for us and I  wanted to share my experience and my appreciation of the service.
