About: Royal Cornwall Hospital (Treliske) / Gynaecology

(as a service user),

I had a hystereoscopy at Treliske hospital Cornwall( Royal Cornwall Trust) . My consultant was Miss Glover, nurses Asha, Helena and Yvonne. 

My care was first class and they put me at ease as I really wasn’t looking forward to my procedure. I needed it because I’d have some vaginal bleeding and menopausal. On tamoxifen after breast cancer. Which can cause thickening of the endometrial areas. Miss Glover removed 12 polyps  and took a endometrial biopsy. Will receive the results in the next few weeks.

I had gas and air off and on. They were really really lovely. I’m so grateful for the care I received. They were just as lovely at the Mermaid centre for my lumpectomy, my surgeon was Mr Brown. 

They are all magnificent, well the ones I’ve seen anyway. 

Many thanks to all with the wonderful care I received this is not just a vocation to them they are truly dedicated.

I am glad that we were able to support you through what we know is not the most pleasant experience. You should get your results fairly promptly. We hope that stories such as yours will reassure women coming to our department in future.
