"Life changing experience of CBT"

About: Adult Psychological Therapies Service / Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT)

(as a service user),

I was referred to the service for one aspect of a mixed diagnosis, primarily to treat OCT. Whilst CBT takes time and investment from both the therapist and service-user I can say now that it has been life changing.

Whilst it is not a magical cure for any condition, my quality of life has significantly increased and I am forever grateful for Vanessa and how she was able to help me complete CBT.

Now I have more space to think clearly and not let my OCD take over every aspect of my life.

This has been life-changing and I can’t recommend it highly enough.

Dear Appleandpeanutbutter,

Thanks you for taking the time to share such positive feedback of your experience within the CBT service.

I am so happy to hear that CBT with Vanessa has been life changing for you and that the aspects of treatment have allowed you to manage OCD.

You have obviously taken on board the skills taught in sessions and are managing well to consolidate these into your life, I hope that you can continue with this.

I will pass on your comments to Vanessa and the wider team

I would like to wish you all the best for the future.

Kind regards

Debbie Proctor

CBT co-ordinator.
