"Amazing care received from all"

I attended Stracathro hospital last week for a tonsillectomy and I couldn't fault my experience. From the moment I stepped into the building, I was made to feel welcome and was kept informed on every step of the journey.

Every single person I met treated me with a high level of care and compassion and every single member of the team seemed truly happy to work there which is very refreshing to see. Being a nurse myself it can be difficult being on the "other side" but I was made to feel at ease due to the high level of care I received.

Everything was very swift and timely and ran like clockwork, no delays or long waiting times. I also observed nurses giving other patients regular updates on the theatre lists keeping them well informed and managing expectations of when they will be taken.

The student nurses I encountered were also fab and have a very promising career ahead of them with the level of professionalism and care they displayed.

Thank you all for all the care you showed me and although my admission was short the team have made a lasting impression! Thanks again!
