"Course gave a lot of insight"

About: Mental Health / Primary Care Mental Health

(as a service user),

ADHD Service East Renfreshire Team.

I attended a 7 week course to learn more regarding ADHD. This gave a lot of insight into why I was the way I was, why I reacted to things the way I did, and why I did things a certain way.

It also helped me to find solutions to issues I was having with day to day life. I now understand more about my hypersensitivity and why I hyperfocus on tasks.

It has helped me realise I am normal and not strange. How I just do things in a more unique way to others and to be proud of that part of me. To accept myself and my quirkiness.

Thank you giraffexs95 for taking the time to connect with us and share your positive experience of participating in the SPARKS groups.

We appreciate you taking the time to post your comments along with your appreciation of the supports offered. Great to hear the group has helped you find solutions to issues you were having with day to day life. I will ensure that the feedback is passed on to Anna & Paul.

Kind regards.
