About: Royal Alexandra Hospital / Same Day Admissions Unit (SDAU)

(as a service user),

I was admitted to the Same Day Admission Unit at the RAH in Paisley. I have been admitted twice in a 2-week period for breast surgery. 

On both occasions all the staff I encountered from the consultants Mr Mysouka to Miss Blackhall . In the ward from all the staff I encountered including Senior Charge Nurse Alyson for my 2 visits the staff made me feel very welcome and very at ease 

I had been very nervous on both occasions around my impending surgery.  The care I received at the Unit was in my opinion 2nd to none.   Staff took the time where it allowed to chat to me.  The tea and toast after both these surgeries was absolute heaven.

Once again I have nothing but admiration and total respect for everyone I have encountered on my journey
